I have not been able to focus my repertoire on only one vocal range and luckily, I never had to. I love to experiment with my voice and try to find new colours and shades in my tone.
I sang opera and operetta arias in concerts but also pop songs at weddings as wished for by the bride and groom.
I had the opportunity to sing mezzosoprano and lyric soprano solo parts in concerts like Bizet’s “Carmen”, Dalila from Saint-Saens’ “Samson and Dalila”, or Violetta from Verdi’s “La Traviata”. I like the deep emotional and often dramatic kind of opera but singing coloraturas like Rosina in Rossini’s “Il barbiere die Siviglia” is just a joy, too. I feel very lucky to have the flexibility in my voice which allows me to sing such pieces.
Enjoy!
